There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1
TODAY’S CHALLENGE – October 25, 2021. A PRISM OF POSSIBILITIES! That is what your life is – yes a prism of possibilities. But we have to start look at our lives that way. Answer this question, what are the obstacles in your life, that if removed, could fundamentally change the way you live? Common responses might include, “Impossible!” “Which obstacle?” or “Where do I begin?” It’s nice to imagine a life with no obstacles, with everything going according to plan. It’s also nice to imagine a tree that grows money, a fountain of youth and pots of gold at the end of every rainbow. Truth be told, a life without obstacles is a life without challenge, and without challenge, life is reduced to days of drudgery. At the same time we have those who view obstacles as opportunities. Confronted with difficult situations or problems that seem insurmountable, these individuals turn challenges into triumphs, and then eagerly seek out another. A PRISM OF POSSIBILITIES!
EMBRACE THE JOURNEY: TIME TO WALK IN YOUR SEASON!!! The cool of autumn is a welcome respite from summer’s heat. The warmth of spring is a promise that winter has gone away. Spring would not be so glorious without the winter that precedes it. Autumn would not be so welcome if the heat of summer had not grown so wearisome. A new season is always on the way, and with it, changes, opportunities, risks, promises, mystery. In every season you’ll find new joys to live, work to be done, progress to be made, greetings as well as goodbyes. Life changes, for that is its very nature. Nothing you can do will stop the changes that come with each season, and you wouldn’t want to anyway. In those changes, as inconvenient, difficult, and painful as they can often be, is the glorious substance of living. In every change is your chance to make a change for the better. Let the relentless progression of the seasons inspire your own unrelenting progress, your own rewarding changes. Live with more purpose, love, kindness and generosity, filled with a joy that no passing season can take away. Nature’s colors turn warm when the weather begins to cool. Red leaves, orange, yellow and brown settle to the ground as shadows grow longer and days become shorter. One season draws to a close as another one begins to appear. The world itself gives a reminder to treasure what has been while working to create new goodness, new experiences and new value. It can be difficult to let go of what has become so familiar. Yet in that choice to move on, is the promise of new beauty and a life that’s more meaningful. In the softly glowing ember of autumn is the sure and eventual birth of a vibrant explosion of springtime. By letting go and moving confidently forward, we enable life to grow ever richer. Seasons change, again and again, and with each change life renews itself, becoming stronger and more robust. From the old, a new world is born, giving fresh life and energy to treasured hopes and dreams. Look around and witness the magnificent spectacle. Join in, and let your spirit be energized by new life coming to life. EMBRACE THE JOURNEY: TIME TO WALK IN YOUR SEASON!!!
And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.
